Quadconsult assisted with all Civils and Structural design requirements in order to achieve RM approval for 200 new homes in Lydney, Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire for Bellway Wales, along with the Civil design of a roundabout, currently under construction, serving the development.
Known as Forest Walk, the development comprises 170 private, 9 shared ownership and 21 affordable homes as well as ecological enhancements, public open spaces and play areas. Each of the homes will have solar PV panels and an electric car charging point.
Biodiversity is a key feature within the plans with an overall increase in natural habitats on site being achieved by preserving trees and hedges where possible and by introducing new and varied species to the green spaces within the development.
