The Eastern High project, part of the Cardiff Living regeneration programme, was highly commended by CEW for the Net Zero Award in the Constructing Excellence Awards 2022. Â On the site of a former school and comprising 170 new build houses and 45 Care Ready apartments, the scheme was designed to RNIB Platinum standards, complies with the HAPPI standards, and incorporates renewable technologies and smart energy management systems in all the homes.
QuadConsult was part of the design team working in conjunction with Wates, Cardiff City Council and Powell Dobson Architects.

RIBA Stage 1 – 4 were completed on behalf of Cadarn Group from conceptual design through to securing the relevant sectional agreements. The site required Section 38 and 278 highways approval, along with SAB and Section 104 agreements for the proposed foul serving the development
