Troed-yr-Aur Farm, West Wales, UK
1.8m gallons of slurry storage including bulk earthworks to achieve a cut and fill balance, and access tracks.
The client required 1.8m gallons of slurry storage on their farm in Ceredigion, which necessitated a bulk earthworks exercise to achieve a cut and fill balance. Access tracks were also provided for plant and to direct livestock to pasture areas. The design required a ‘reverse-engineering’ approach to fit the slurry store within a restricted zone on the site.
