Wales & West Utilities commissioned the environmental improvement and other restoration works including the infilling of former gas holders at Grangetown in Cardiff. As the last standing gas holder in Wales, constructed in 1881, QuadConsult was commissioned to undertake a detailed structural and condition report which was deposited in the National Library in Aberystwyth as a formal historical archive.
