QuadConsult engineers, working directly for The Restaurant Group, designed two new steel-framed restaurants off piled substructures. Our works spanned from planning stages through construction, and included Flood Risk Assessments and drainage strategies. The site had complications as it was a retail park over a historical landfill site, with existing services and drainage crossing the site and extensive ground gas issues. Additional complications were public rights of way crossing the site, which were required to be in operation throughout the site works.
