Will is a Chartered Civil Engineer with fifteen years experience in the construction industry. Before moving into a consultancy role Will worked for a number of Civil Engineering contractors in site-based roles one of which was the Land and Marine NACAP JV for the gas pipeline installation from Haverfordwest to Milford Haven for National Grid.

Will began his consultancy career working at QuadConsult as a Graduate Engineer nine years ago after graduating from The University of South Wales, Pontypridd. Joining the Structures department he developed his skills designing steel structures and connections for a number of national steel fabricators. Will has spent a large part of his career working on renewable energy projects which include wind and solar farms, hydrogen plants, gas generators and battery bank storage facilities where he is charged with overseeing the technical design and production of drawings for the Civil and Structural aspects of the projects.

Playing a vital role in increasing QuadConsult’s presence in the Rail sector he provided services for the roles of CRE (Contractors Responsible Engineer) and CEM (Contractors Engineering Manager). He has also developed strong ties in the Quarry sector designing industrial plant structures for the production of aggregates for several mainstream concrete suppliers in South Wales and the Southwest of England. During his time at QuadConsult Will became Chartered and before progressing to Director he effectively performed his Associate role, overseeing a variety of projects and schemes. He also leads on the temporary works design, confined space surveys and has significant experience with structural surveys in relation to RAAC (Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete) for large existing residential developments where RAAC has been identified and requires remedial works.

Will is active within local communities and has links with University of Swansea & Trinity and Saint David, liaising with clients in the construction industry to establish new and innovative research projects.
