The project comprises the installation of three Enercon E138EP3 turbines located in “keyholes” left for the purpose within an existing solar farm which added to the challenge. We were very pleased to take the opportunity to meet our friends from Enercon at Pembroke Dock where the turbine components were stored pending delivery to the site. Enercon’s negotiations the police and the transport company resulted in Jaime Silva and three other members of our wind farm development team travelling the short distance from Pembroke Dock to Milford Haven within the police convoy which is rarely permitted.
