QuadConsult Limited undertook a drainage feasibility study for a Forestry Commission visitor centre near Aberystwyth, Mid Wales. The existing drainage infrastructure required upgrading due to a large increase in visitor numbers. An option study was prepared, culminating in a number of designs that could be costed for viability purposes.
Civil and Structural Engineering design services were provided by QuadConsult Limited to Gravan Construction on the design and construction of new retail showrooms for M&P Motorcycles at Gorseinon, near Swansea. Particular challenges included the balancing of earthworks including crushed demolition arisings to minimise off-site disposal and the re-use of the original external concrete slab areas.
